1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device model, OS, device identifiers, mobile network information.
- Usage data: app interactions, screens viewed, timestamps, crash logs, performance diagnostics.
- Approximate location: IP address and network information for security and fraud prevention.
1.3 Location Information (Foreground)
When the driver is online or in an active trip, the App collects precise GPS location to:
- Match drivers with nearby riders
- Provide route navigation and trip guidance
- Calculate distance and fares
- Display trip progress
- Support rider and driver safety
1.4 Background Location Data (Required by Google Play)
Kanz Driver collects and processes background location data while the driver is online, even when the App is not actively displayed
or when the device screen is off. Background location is required to:
- Maintain real-time driver availability
- Ensure accurate trip assignment
- Provide safety monitoring
- Calculate fares and routes
- Support emergency and security features
If background location is disabled, drivers will be unable to receive trips or operate as active drivers.

- Device identifiers: advertising ID, device ID, and system identifiers for analytics and fraud prevention.
- Crash logs: used to improve stability and detect errors.
- Activity data: taps, gestures, trip-related actions, and app behavior.
- Uploaded documents: photos of IDs, licenses, vehicle papers.
